A short recap: What is FIWARE?
FIWARE is a technology driven acceleration program, initiated by the European Commission to offer funding, business support and access to a wide European network of entrepreneurs, SMEs, developers and mentors. The goal is to generate economic impact and create jobs.
What makes it interesting to submit a project?
Selected startups & SMEs get up to €150k funding (equity free) to build internet & mobile apps powered by FIWARE technology.
Throughout the entire process, the iMinds team serves as the primary contact for local startups and SMEs participating in the program. Once selected, the iMinds team monitors and supports the project for the the duration of the program.
In addition to funding and technical support, selected projects receive training, coaching and mentoring that address their specific needs. We involve the projects in local and European events to ensure that they benefit from the international exposure attached to the FIWARE programme.

- Connected Content - Care & Well being - Smart Cities
- 3D printing & Smart Manufacturing
